Miami International Film Festival (MiamiFF), a program of Miami Dade College’s MDCulture, partners with 3:05 Cafecito, the movement that declared 3:05 PM Miami's official coffee time, to celebrate the announcement of MIFFecito’s program. MIFFecito, the “mini” film festival running October 16 – 19, 2014 as a mid-season “taste” to next year’s 32nd edition of MiamiFF, which will run March 6-15, 2015.MiamiFF and 3:05 Cafecito invite the community for a complimentary coffee break with “MIFFecitos” (espressos and cortaditos) to be served by Aroma Espresso.

Here’s a hint to what’s to come in Tuesday’s MIFFecito program announcement.  Daniel Boulud’s db Bistro in downtown Miami will continue its Miami’s Own series with a special dinner hosted by MiamiFF executive director Jaie Laplante. In celebration of one of the films in MiamiFF’s mid-season Festival, MIFFecito, chef Jason Pringle has created a Basque-inspired menu featuring a four-course menu paired with wines from some of the finest wine regions in Northern Spain.

Guests will receive a complimentary movie ticket to the Basque film featured in the MIFFecito program with the dinner.
