La edición de MIFF 31 (7 a 16 marzo 2014) se estrenará el mundo 11 cortometrajes que documentan un proyecto por un grupo de artistas de renombre nacional e internacional por encargo de la Iniciativa Artística y comisariada por Proyectos Primaria. Las películas son producidas por Grela Orihuela y dirigida por Bill Bilowit del Proyecto Wet Heat de Miami. Largometraje documental Bilowit sobre Bert Rodríguez, Hacer Sh * t Up,mundo estrenó en la 28 ª edición del MIFF en 2011.

Cada una de las 11 películas serán documentar individualmente obra creada por el proyecto Iniciativa Artística por los artistas Daniel Arsham, Bhakti Baxter, Jim Drain, FriendsWithYou, Cody Hudson, Alvaro Ilizarbe, Andrew Nigon, Kenton Parker, Bert Rodríguez, Jen Stark y Austyn Weiner.

Los 11 cortometrajes documentales serán programados para preceder individualmente los largometrajes documentales que compiten en el programa de la Competencia Documental del MIFF 2014 Knight.

MIFF’s 31st edition (March 7-16, 2014) will world premiere 11 short films documenting a project by a group of nationally and internationally renowned artists commissioned by The Arts Initiative and curated by Primary Projects. The films are produced by Grela Orihuela and directed by Bill Bilowit of Miami's Wet Heat Project. Bilowit's feature-length documentary about Bert Rodriguez, Making Sh*t Up, world premiered at MIFF’s 28th edition in 2011.
