El festival también ofrece premios en metálico a su sección de competencia ganadores. Este ALIIFF año se han puesto en marcha una nueva categoría Short Film Corner el objetivo de construir una plataforma de marketing para abreviar cineastas y para apoyar sus impulsos creativos y fuera de la caja experimentos artísticos. El registeration de esta categoría es sólo 10 USD.
