Two short films selected for the #15BOGOSHORTS receive Oscar nominations
Negative Space by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata, and Garden Party by ILLOGIC, have the opportunity to win the coveted statuette in the Best Animated Short Film category.

The Mexican filmmaker and Marc S. Noellkaemper, director of the short film The Space Between Us, came to this conclusion after an encounter to solve the controversy raised since August, 2017.
The main similarity between both works is in the premise of the story: a woman in charge of cleaning a laboratory meets an enclosed anthropomorphic sea creature, with which eventually she establishes a sentimental relationship, and frees it.

A hilarious war breaks between a Trump-like mega robot and several stereotypical Mexican Latinos. This funny short film was screened as part of the 'Coexist/Survive = Robots/AI' program at the #15BOGOSHORTS.
