El Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG) tiene el honor de presentar la cuarta edición del Premio Maguey, bajo el lema “DUALIDADES, DIVERSO Y SIMILAR”.
Más de 150 obras fílmicas fueron consideradas para esta edición y sólo 18 películas forman parte de su selección oficial competitiva. Se presentan nueve películas en Proyecciones Especiales que se unen a esta celebración internacional de un cine incluyente, y a partir de las cuales se llevarán a cabo algunos de los homenajes y fiestas temáticas de esta edición Premio Maguey.
Los títulos que integran la selección de Proyecciones Especiales de la cuarta edición Premio Maguey son: Accattone (Italia), A Escondidas (España), Age of Consent (Estados Unidos/Inglaterra), Before You Know It (Estados Unidos), Futuro Beach (Brasil), Los Tontos y los Estúpidos (España), Mondo Homo 2: A Study of French Gay Porn in the ‘70s (Francia), The Circle (Suiza) y Xenia (Grecia).

FICG announces Premio Maguey Special Screenings
The Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) is pleased to announce the fourth edition of Premio Maguey. This fourth edition of Premio Maguey is presented under the slogan “DUALITIES, DIVERSE AND SIMILAR” and is the only competitive official section with an international scope within FICG.
More than 150 film productions were considered for this edition and along the 18 movies that are part of its official competitive selection, we present 9 movies as Special Screenings that join this
international celebration of an inclusive cinema, and which will headline some of the tributes and themed-parties of this edition of Premio Maguey.
