Santa Lucía revela sus 158 cortometrajes en competencia
Saint Lucía reveals her 158 short films in competition
El martes 31 de octubre en Cine Tonalá Bogotá se llevó a cabo la Noche de la Revelación, en la que se anunciaron los cortometrajes que hacen parte de la Selección Oficial en competencia del 15° Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS.
Durante el evento, se anunciaron los cortometrajes que componen la Selección Oficial de la Competencia Nacional, Internacional, F3 - Fanático Freak Fantástico y la nueva competencia VR (Realidad Virtual), que tendrán la posibilidad de ganar la Santa Lucía, estatuilla oficial del festival, en 22 categorías, en el 15° Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS, que se celebrará del 5 al 12 de diciembre de 2017.
Desde el pasado 6 de agosto el Comité de Selección del festival se enfrentó a la dura tarea de elegir los cortometrajes en competencia, tras el cierre de la Convocatoria 2017, que recibió 3.864 cortometrajes de 109 países del mundo. Este Comité está compuesto por Juan Manuel Betancourt, Sebastián Hernández, Carlos Hernández, Maritza Blanco, Juan Concha, Juan Díaz B., Salomón Simhon, Felipe Suárez, José Luis Urriago, Rodrigo Torrijos, Esteban Giraldo, César Heredia, Daniel Mejía, Ana Caro, Sergio Mejía, Gustavo Vasco, Paola Andrea Pérez y el director de BOGOSHORTS, Jaime E. Manrique.
 On Tuesday October 31 at Cine Tonalá Bogotá was held the Night of the Revelation, on which were announced the short films that are part of the Official Selection in competition for the 15° Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS.
During the event, were revealed the short films in the Official Selection of the National, International and F3 - Fan Freak Fantastic Competitions, as well as the new VR (Virtual Reality) Competition, that will have the chance to win the Saint Lucía, the festival's official statuette, in 22 categories, at the 15° Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS, which will be held from December 5 to 12, 2017.
Since past August 6, the Selection Committee of the festival faced the task of selecting the films in competition, after closing the 2017 Call for entries that received 3.864 short films from 109 countries around the world. Juan Manuel Betancourt, Sebastián Hernández, Carlos Hernández, Maritza Blanco, Juan Concha, Juan Díaz B., Salomón Simhon, Felipe Suárez, José Luis Urriago, Rodrigo Torrijos, Esteban Giraldo, César Heredia, Daniel Mejía, Ana Caro, Sergio Mejía, Gustavo Vasco, Paola Andrea Pérez and BOGOSHORTS' director, Jaime E. Manrique, compose the festival's Selection Committee.
